The short version
There is no account to create, so there is very little about you for us to hold. The comments you load never reach our servers as stored data, and they are gone the moment you close the tab. The only personal detail we keep at all is an email address, and only if you have bought a pack.
1. The comments you load
This is the part people ask about, so it comes first. When you paste a post link, the comments are fetched and held in your browser's memory for as long as the draw is running. They are not written to a database, not logged, and not used to build any kind of list. Refresh or close the tab and they are gone, with no copy anywhere.
We never see the entrants of your giveaway as a retained record, and we do not contact them, profile them, or pass them to anyone. The comments were already public on Instagram before you loaded them, and nothing about handling them here makes them any less so.
2. What we do keep
- Your email, only if you paid. A purchase is unlocked against the address used at checkout, so we store that address alongside how many draws remain. That is the whole record.
- A usage counter tied to your IP. The free tier allows two loads a day, and enforcing that needs a count. It is a number against a short-lived key, it expires after 24 hours, and it is not linked to anything else about you.
- Ordinary server logs. Requests, error traces and timings, kept briefly so faults can be diagnosed.
3. What we never collect
- Your Instagram username or password. The tool has no login and asks for no authorisation.
- Your card details. The payment processor handles those end to end; they never touch this site.
- A stored copy of any entrant list, from any giveaway, ever.
4. Who else is involved
A few external services are needed to run the site, and each sees only what its job requires: the hosting provider, a key-value store that holds the purchase record and the daily counter, the payment processor, and a privacy-conscious analytics script that reports how pages are used in aggregate. None of them receive comment data, because comment data is never sent anywhere.
We do not sell data. We do not share it for advertising. The only situation in which we would hand anything over is a valid legal order, and the total available is an email address and a draw count.
5. Cookies
No advertising or tracking cookies are set. If you activate a pack, your email address is saved in your browser's local storage so you do not have to retype it each visit. That value stays on your device and can be cleared at any time by clearing site data. Analytics may set its own cookie to distinguish repeat visits.
6. How long anything lasts
The IP counter expires after 24 hours. A purchase record lasts a year from purchase, which matches how long the draws stay valid. Server logs are held briefly for debugging. Comment data has no retention period because it is never retained.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see what we hold, correct it, have it deleted, or object to how it is used. In practice the whole record is an email address and a number, and one message to [email protected] is enough to see it or have it erased. Deleting the record also removes any unused draws attached to it, so it is worth being sure first.
8. Children
The service is not aimed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly hold data about children. If you believe a child has provided information, write to us and it will be removed.
9. Changes to this policy
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. Material changes will be described here rather than slipped in.
10. Contact
